Stresslessness : noun (strɛslɪsnɪs) : living life free from stress

Most of the stress you experience is caused by thoughts about the situation we’re in, not the situation itself.

You spend so much time listening to unhelpful thoughts in your head, often not even realising that this ‘virtual reality’ is different to the ‘actual reality’ around you.

This can be exhausting, and stops you achieving our potential.

But there is another way.

Drop the Banana

If hunters want to catch a monkey they put a banana, into a hole. The entrance to the hole is only just wide enough for the monkey to get its hand in.

The monkey grabs the banana, and is then stuck.

All it has to do to free itself is drop the banana.

But it doesn’t.

It’s not the banana causing the problem. The issue is the monkey not letting go.

The same is true for unhelpful thoughts If we hold onto them we’re trapped, struggling, not aware of the damage it’s causing. Or that’s there’s a way to free ourselves from the stressful thoughts.

Letting go of Thoughts

(Or ‘Dropping the Banana’)

Stresslessness is about being aware of our thoughts, and being able to detach from the ones that are unhelpful.

There are simple tools, which you can use, so that you can reduce the stress in your life by being aware of your thoughts, and being able to let them go if they’re causing you stress.

Proven by 30 years of research and evaluation, this method underpins what psychologists now use to help clients with extreme anxiety, grief, anger and other mental health challenges.

It works. It’s simple. It’s for everyone, but not everyone is ready for it.

If you’re keen to try something new, it’s a solution that can be life changing.
